Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard Command visits Hang Duong Cemetery

On the afternoon of July 19, a delegation of the Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard Command (BĐBP) led by Colonel Tran Thanh Duc, Commander, offered incense and paid tribute at Hang Duong Cemetery (Con Dao Special Zone), on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025).

At the Memorial, officers and soldiers offered incense and observed a minute of silence to express their gratitude to the heroic martyrs and patriots who sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

After the memorial service, the delegation came to burn incense at the graves of heroic martyrs and patriots resting in Hang Duong cemetery.

On the same day, the delegation visited and presented gifts to the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Con Dao Special Zone. At the meeting, Colonel Tran Thanh Duc expressed his joy at the results of socio-economic development, national defense and security of the locality; at the same time, he emphasized the strategic position of Con Dao in the task of protecting territorial sovereignty and security of sea and island borders.

The Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard Command affirmed that it will continue to closely coordinate with the Party Committee and authorities of Con Dao in performing the task of maintaining security and order in the area.
