Right before the Secret Garden Live in Vietnam concert taking place on the evening of October 18 at the My Dinh National Convention Center, on October 17, Fionnuala Sherry and Rolf Løvland of the band Secret Garden had a meeting with the press in Hanoi .
Secret Garden: every time I perform on stage is a new experience
Secret Garden Live in Vietnam is the opening point of the band's 30th anniversary World tour, so the artists said there are many special features for Vietnamese audiences.
Secret Garden will bring a collection of works that made their name such as Nocturne, Songs From A Secret Garden... , divided into three main themes: nature; beautiful scenery, human relationships; culture.
Audiences will enjoy "wordless" melodies rich in imagery to songs that are a hybrid of classical and Nordic-Celtic folk music.
This is the first time the band has set foot in Vietnam, so the two artists are extremely excited. When the band posted information about the tour on their fanpage, many Vietnamese audiences commented, sent greetings and expressed their love for Secret Garden's music .

"It is that warm affection that makes us feel a special connection with the Vietnamese audience, even though we have never met them. Vietnam brings us a very special inspiration. We hope to repay that affection with profound and memorable performances," said Mr. Rolf Løvland.
Artist Fionnuala Sherry added that each time on stage, it is like a dialogue between the two artists and the audience, and each time the work is performed differently, the artists resonate with the emotions of the audience. Therefore, every performance is always new, and every time the artists go on stage, they still feel the same excitement as parents taking their children to school for the first time.
The two artists are looking forward to the special emotions they receive from Vietnamese fans.

Happy to contribute to support people affected by storms and floods

Regarding the charity purpose of the Good Morning Vietnam program, artist Fionnuala Sherry said it was great for them to be a part of this meaningful activity (ticket proceeds were used to support people affected by the recent storm and flood).
The two artists said that before coming to Vietnam, they had read about the recent severe storms and floods in Vietnam. Both artists felt special when their concert could bring support to people who suffered a lot of losses due to natural disasters.
Along with the October 18 music night, Secret Garden also filmed a MV in Ninh Binh to promote Vietnam to the world .
After the show in Vietnam, Secret Garden will continue their tour in major cities in China before returning to Norway.
Secret Garden Live in Vietnam is the third concert within the framework of the international music project series for the community Good Morning Vietnam initiated and implemented by Nhan Dan Newspaper and IB Group Vietnam.
Before that were two shows Kenny G Live in Vietnam and Bond Live in Vietnam.
