With 187 gold medals, while the 19th ASIAD has only two more days of competition to close, the host team China has quickly exceeded the target and will certainly win the overall title.

Bringing home 47 gold medals, 11 more than the Korean team, the Japanese team is almost certain to win the runner-up position.

Winning 10 gold medals, Thailand is the only ASEAN team in the top 10 of the Games' medal tally.
