Arrested 5 suspects using and possessing more than 25,000 drug pills

On March 28, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Quang Binh Province Police announced that it had coordinated with Dong Hoi City Police to arrest 5 suspects for storing and organizing illegal use of drugs.

Previously, at around 10:00 a.m. on March 27, the authorities inspected house number 74 Huu Nghi Street (Dong Hoi City), catching 4 suspects in the act of organizing drug use, including: Pham Hai Nam (39 years old, residing in Bac Ly Ward), Nguyen Anh Tuan (40 years old), Truong Tien Cuong (28 years old, both residing in Nam Ly Ward, Dong Hoi City) and Ho Than Thuc (38 years old, residing in Quynh Luu District, Nghe An).

At the scene, the authorities seized evidence including 164 pink meth pills, 210 ecstasy pills, 3 plastic bags containing Ketamine meth and 3 plastic bottles used for drug use.

During an emergency search of Truong Tien Cuong's workplace, Quang Binh Provincial Police continued to seize a black suitcase containing 26 plastic bags containing more than 25,000 ecstasy pills.

Continuing to expand the investigation, Quang Binh Provincial Police have issued an emergency detention order for Phan Van Trung (19 years old, residing in Bo Trach District, Quang Binh) for illegal drug trafficking.
