Closing of the 8th Central Party Congress of the Public Security

The Congress highly approved the Resolution of the 8th Central Party Congress of the Public Security, identifying 3 main groups of targets, 8 groups of tasks and solutions, and 3 strategic breakthroughs.

On October 5, in Hanoi, the 8th Congress of the Central Party Committee of the Public Security , term 2025-2030, entered its third official working day, the Closing Session.

After nearly 3 days of active and urgent work, with the motto "Solidarity, democracy, discipline, responsibility, breakthrough, efficiency," the 8th Congress of the Central Public Security Party Committee was a great success.

The Congress approved the political report and review report on the leadership and direction of the Central Public Security Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; discussed documents of the Central Public Security Party Committee and contributed opinions to the draft documents of the Central Committee to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress.

The Congress highly approved the Resolution of the 8th Central Party Congress of the Public Security, term 2025-2030, identifying 3 main groups of targets, 8 groups of tasks, solutions and 3 strategic breakthroughs.

The Congress elected a delegation representing more than 67,000 party members of the Central Public Security Party Committee to attend the 14th National Congress of the Party.

In his closing speech at the Congress, General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, acknowledged and highly appreciated the political responsibility, awareness and intelligence of the delegates, contributing to the overall success of the Congress.

The success of the Congress is the result of the careful, serious and responsible preparation process of the Congress's sub-committees, the functional agencies of the Central Public Security Party Committee and central agencies, and all party members, officers and soldiers in the entire force.

The Minister emphasized that after the Congress, Party committees and commanders at all levels need to focus on leading, directing, and organizing propaganda on the successful results of the Congress; thoroughly grasp and successfully implement the Resolution and Action Program of the 8th Central Party Congress of the Public Security, and turn the Resolution into reality in practical work and combat.

The entire Central Public Security Party Committee is determined to "Follow Uncle Ho's teachings - Innovate thinking - Improve knowledge - Be disciplined, modern - For the Party, for the people"; promote the 80-year tradition of building, fighting and growing of the heroic People's Public Security force, firmly protect national security, create positive changes in social order, participate in building and developing a rich, powerful and prosperous Vietnam./.
