After the 2nd and 3rd days of competition, the Northern qualifying round of the Vietnam Workers' and Civil Servants' Football Tournament 2025 has determined 6 names that have won tickets to the final round, taking place at the end of October in Ho Chi Minh City.

Timely encouragement

Teams that won direct tickets (to the semi-finals of the qualifying round) and indirectly through the play-off series all paid out big bonuses to their players. Among them was the Vietnam People's Public Security Trade Union team, one of the four representatives who won direct tickets.

According to research, this team has awarded at least 10 million VND to its players up to this point. Of which, players who score goals are awarded 1 million VND/goal, and goalkeepers who save penalties are awarded 2 million VND/kick.

On the morning of October 5, the Vietnam People's Public Security Trade Union team won the Hai Phong City Trade Union with a penalty score of 7-6, after the two teams tied 0-0 in the official match time. The Vietnam People's Public Security Trade Union's goalkeeper saved 3 penalty kicks.

Representatives of the People's Public Security Trade Union team will wait for the results of the final qualifying round against the Vietnam Bank Trade Union in the afternoon of the same day to award the players in the evening. After the qualifying round, the team's management will consult and propose to award certificates of merit to the players.

This is one of the teams with the most effective attacking ability in the qualifying round, when they have won many matches with different scores. It is understandable that the total bonus for the players who scored is up to more than 10 million VND in just 2 days of competition.

Bac Ninh 1 and Bac Ninh 2 Trade Unions - two teams that also won places in the national finals of the Vietnam Workers' and Civil Servants' Football Tournament, were also generously rewarded during the qualifying round.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Vinh (35 years old, captain of Bac Ninh 1 Trade Union team) said that Bac Ninh Provincial Trade Union also supported many of its members with subsidies, training arrangements, travel expenses, meals, and accommodation. The players who scored goals for both teams were awarded 500,000 VND/goal.

Stop from qualifying round, still get reward

That was the case of the Agribank team, when the team was eliminated in the quarter-finals of the qualifying round and had to play a play-off to compete for a ticket to the final round.

In the play-off round, Agribank lost to Hanoi Trade Union with a score of 1-5, thereby officially saying goodbye to the tournament. However, the players still received a lot of bonuses, to encourage their brave fighting spirit in the past 2 days.

Nguyen Cong Nghia, a player of Agribank team, said that he participated in the tournament with the spirit of exchange and learning. Going through a rather tight schedule with 5 matches in just 2 days, he and his teammates fought not only with technique but also with mental strength.
