Closing Ceremony of the 1st Lai Chau Provincial Pickleball Championship 2025 - ZOCKER Cup Competition

(laichau.gov.vn) After 4 days of exciting competition with many good, fierce, attractive matches, many beautiful moves, this afternoon (October 19), the 1st Lai Chau Provincial Pickleball Championship 2025 - ZOCKE Cup organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism was a great success and closed.

Comrade Le Van Luong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded the Cup to the Brothers team, awarded flags to the teams that won First, Second, and Third Prizes and took souvenir photos at the Closing Ceremony.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the tournament, Mr. Tran Van Cong - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism , Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Tournament emphasized: This year's tournament is the first championship to organize a new, modern, attractive sport, organized at the provincial level. Although it is still new, it has attracted a large number of athletes from provincial departments, branches, communes, wards and clubs throughout the province to participate; especially with the participation of 2 delegations of athletes from Dien Bien and Lao Cai provinces, creating a vibrant competition atmosphere, spreading the spirit of sports training to all classes of people.

Comrade Tran Van Cong - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Tournament delivered the closing speech.

During the competition, the athletes played their best, contributed many good plays, played intense matches, demonstrated technique, bravery and fair-play spirit. Comrade Tran Van Cong - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Tournament highly appreciated the serious and professional competitive spirit of the athletes; the impartial and accurate work of the referees; especially the enthusiastic and civilized cheering of the audience - all contributed to the overall success of the Tournament.

Provincial leaders, Organizing Committee, and Sponsors took souvenir photos at the Closing Ceremony.

At the closing ceremony of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded 48 prizes (16 first prizes, 16 second prizes and 29 third prizes) to the athletes and overall prizes to the winning teams. In which, the Athletes' Team of the Brothers Club won the first prize and the Championship Cup; the Athletes' Team of the Provincial Department of Education and Training won the second prize; the Athletes' Team of Dien Bien province won the third prize.

Comrade Tong Thanh Hai - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded prizes to the athletes who won First, Second and Third prizes in the mixed male and female leadership pairs.

Comrade Le Van Luong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded prizes to athletes who won First, Second and Third prizes in the men's amateur pairs group II.
