On January 3, the People's Committee of Ward 15 (Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City) announced the search for biological parents for abandoned newborns in the area.

3 days ago, at around 5:15 am, a resident doing morning exercise on Truong Chinh street (ward 15) discovered a blue handbag.

When checking, this person discovered a newborn baby inside so he called the authorities.

Upon inspection, the abandoned newborn was a baby boy, about 3 days old, weighing 3 kg, and 50 cm long. The baby boy was wrapped in a red scarf, white gloves, a white hat, and white clothes with blue borders. Inside was a note written on it, and was placed in a green travel bag.

The boy was then taken to the ward health station for health care.

Ward 15 People's Committee said that after 7 days from the date of announcement, if the child's biological parents are not found, the ward authorities will proceed with the procedures according to the law. If anyone knows information about the child's biological parents, they should promptly report to Ward 15 People's Committee for resolution.
