BIDV accompanies the country's development

In the general exhibition space of the banking industry at the National Achievement Exhibition with the theme “80 years of Independence-Freedom-Happiness journey”, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) brought many unique impressions. Thereby, recreating the 68-year journey of being attached to the cause of building and developing the country of a financial institution with the longest history in Vietnam.

With the combination of historical and modern elements, technology and practical experience, BIDV 's booth became one of the highlights in the exhibition space of the banking industry. Since its establishment in 1957 under the name of Vietnam Construction Bank, BIDV has been with the country in every historical period, from post-war recovery, economic renovation to deep integration into the global economy. According to comrade Tran Xuan Hoang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors of BIDV: "In 68 years of efforts to fulfill the assigned mission, BIDV has clearly demonstrated its dedication and loyalty to the interests of the nation and people; affirming the role of an organization that is always proactive, pioneering, and leading in implementing the policies and guidelines of the Party and State.

Every year, BIDV provides millions of billions of VND in credit to the economy, focusing on priority areas, growth drivers, major economic programs, developing high-impact infrastructure projects, ensuring major balances of the economy; contributing to reducing and stabilizing interest rates, stabilizing exchange rates; actively supporting businesses and people to overcome difficulties through adjusting interest rates, debt restructuring, fee exemptions and reductions (of which more than 34,000 billion VND in income has been reduced to lower interest rates to support customers in the period 2020-2024); participating in supporting weak banks such as SCB and DongABank. At the same time, as a major national financial institution, BIDV proactively researches, advises and proposes many State management mechanisms, especially in the fields of economics, banking and finance; builds technological solutions to meet new regulations...".

The highlight of BIDV's exhibition booth is the program to directly experience a series of digital banking products and services and advanced financial solutions, vividly introduced through the LED screen system and interactive touch screen. BIDV's outstanding products that the public can experience include: BIDV SmartBanking X (digital banking application with many utilities); BIDV Home (easy home loans via mobile devices, supporting the dream of settling down); SME Fast Track (breakthrough solution for retail businesses, e-commerce and business households converting to businesses); eKYC (online customer identification); BIDV Open API (leading the trend of open banking); BIDV Direct (a completely new digital bank for institutional customers)...

In particular, to promptly implement the direction of the Politburo and the Prime Minister on giving gifts to people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, right at the exhibition booth, BIDV officials enthusiastically guided people to link their bank accounts in the "Social Security" section to receive a gift of VND 100,000 from the Government through the VNeID electronic identification application.
