    Ms. L. said that two fishing boats were on their way to Cua Viet creek to take shelter from the storm when they encountered an accident about 1.5km from shore. As a result, one boat sank, the other boat stalled and was hit by waves. The total number of crew members on both boats was 11.

    By 9am the same day, the forces coordinated with fishermen to rescue 8 crew members on the stranded ship. The crew members received initial health care and were brought ashore.
    The Border Guard Station of Cua Viet Port is coordinating with functional forces to rescue two Ba Ria - Vung Tau ships with codes BV4670 TS and BV0042 TS that were in distress while taking shelter from the storm. Of these, one ship sank about 0.9 nautical miles from shore and the other ship is suffering from a broken side.
