Ca Mau held a press conference to provide information about the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030

On the afternoon of October 10, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Ho Trung Viet and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang chaired a press conference to provide information on the 1st Congress of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 and a press conference for the third quarter of 2025.

At the press conference, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Ho Trung Viet said: Up to now, preparations for the 1st Congress of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 (Congress) have been basically completed. The Congress will take place in 02 days (October 16 - 17) at the Provincial Conference Center, Le Duan Street, An Xuyen Ward.

The Congress will review the implementation of the Resolution of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term and set out directions, goals and tasks for the 2025-2030 term; discuss and contribute opinions to the draft documents submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party; announce the decisions appointing the Standing Committee, the Executive Committee of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term and delegates of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee to attend the 14th National Congress of the Party.

In particular, this Congress is organized in the form of a "Paperless Congress", with documents for the Congress accessed via electronic devices. This is considered a breakthrough in the application of information technology and digital transformation in Party work.

At the press conference, delegates were quickly informed about the socio -economic situation in the third quarter and the first 9 months of 2025. Accordingly, economic activities continued to develop; the total product in the province in the third quarter increased by 8.06%, in the first 9 months increased by 7.53%; export turnover was more than 1.89 billion USD, reaching 72.8% of the plan, up 6.4%; welcomed nearly 6.8 million visitors, up 15.4%; total tourism revenue reached 6,821 billion VND, up 16.1%; total budget revenue reached 8,879 billion VND, equal to 85.6% of the estimate; cultural and social activities continued to be well implemented, especially the regimes and policies for families with revolutionary contributions, poor and near-poor households and social protection beneficiaries; national defense and security were maintained.
