On the morning of June 29, the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of History held the opening ceremony of a special exhibition on national treasures.

According to Mr. Nguyen Minh Nhut, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, the exhibition titled "National Treasures - Heritage Masterpieces in Ho Chi Minh City" displays 17 artifacts that have been recognized as National Treasures by the Prime Minister.

Of these, there are 12 artifacts belonging to the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of History, 2 artifacts belonging to the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of Fine Arts, 2 artifacts belonging to the Ho Chi Minh City Museum and 1 artifact belonging to a private museum.

Actor Chi Bao is introducing a ceramic steamer from the Pham Gia Chi Bao private museum. This is an artifact recognized as a National Treasure in 2024.

“This exhibition is not only large-scale, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the country’s reunification, but also a bridge between the past and the present, helping the public better understand the value of national heritage. The exhibition not only honors national treasures but also contributes to spreading awareness of protecting, preserving and promoting national culture,” said Mr. Nhut.
