Can Tho issues scratch-off lottery tickets with winnings up to 1 billion VND

On August 24, Mr. Dang Thanh Tung - Deputy Director of Can Tho Lottery One Member Co., Ltd. - said that the scratch-off lottery with immediate results for the first phase of 2025 will be drawn on August 27 and officially released on September 2.

The first batch of scratch-off lottery tickets with immediate results is 4 million, with a face value of 10,000 VND/ticket, and a circulation period of 90 days (from September 2 to December 1).

Prize structure for 1 million tickets with 1 special prize (6 numbers) of 1 billion VND, 10 first prizes (5 numbers) of 80 million VND, 10 second prizes (5 numbers) of 15 million VND... and 100,000 ninth prizes (1 number) of 10,000 VND.

The total prize value for the first issue of scratch-off lottery tickets with instant results is 22 billion VND, corresponding to a payout ratio of 55% of the total value of the issued tickets.

Can Tho Lottery Company also noted that agents are not allowed to put tickets into circulation on the market before the release date printed on the tickets.

The owner of a lottery agent in Vi Thanh ward, Can Tho city said the commission rate for scratch-off lottery tickets with immediate results is equivalent to that of traditional lottery tickets.

"Scratch tickets are valid for 90 days, so street vendors don't have to worry about returning unsold tickets because they only accept the tickets that are sold out before they can take more," he said.
