General Director of Da Nang Port Tran Le Tuan said that in the remaining months of 2025, the unit will evaluate the actual effectiveness of the steps in the loading, unloading, delivery and receiving of ships to promptly adjust and eliminate redundant steps. Flexibility in arranging locations, using available infrastructure, equipment and human resources.

In particular, Da Nang Port will continue to deploy many digital transformation solutions in enterprises, digitize documents, optimize processes... At the same time, continue to invest in equipment, improve service quality in logistics activities, tugboats, construction works, to meet market demand in the new situation. Speed ​​up the progress of synchronous investment in infrastructure, equipment... Quickly carry out procedures to approve the investment policy of Office Building 26.

Da Nang Port will also closely coordinate with Vietnam National Shipping Lines and relevant agencies to remove obstacles to carry out procedures to enjoy investment incentives in phase 2 of Tien Sa Port; closely follow the progress of the Hoa Nhon Logistics Center construction project according to plan and vigorously implement investment steps in Lien Chieu Port.

In addition, the company continues to promote customer care to retain old customers and attract new customers. Research and seek development opportunities in the market area of ​​Da Nang Port, especially the Lao and Northern Central Highlands markets. Actively seek orders from new markets such as the EU, Japan, Korea, China, Russia, Belarus and the ASEAN region.

According to the report at the meeting of the Board of Directors of Da Nang Port Joint Stock Company at the end of July, in the first 6 months of 2025, Da Nang Port continued to maintain stable port operations. The volume of goods passing through the port grew positively compared to the same period last year, despite market fluctuations and complex weather conditions.

Total cargo throughput in the first 6 months of 2025 increased by 10% compared to the same period in 2024; of which, container cargo increased by 12%; general cargo increased by 3.7%; wood chips alone increased by more than 200,000 tons. Total revenue in the first 6 months of 2025 increased by 13%; pre-tax profit increased by 21% compared to the same period in 2024.

General commodities such as textile materials, machinery and equipment, electronic components, food, agricultural products, etc. through Da Nang port all grew thanks to the recovery of export markets such as China, Europe, and the US as well as increased domestic consumption demand.

“The goal of Da Nang Port is to focus on completing the revenue and profit plan for the third quarter and the whole year of 2025. Continue to improve the apparatus in a flexible direction, in line with the process of digitalizing enterprises, improving capacity and efficiency in management and operation. At the same time, complete the progress of key investment projects,” said Mr. Tran Le Tuan.
