The working delegation inspected the Cay Me quarry, construction stone quarry (Hoa Xuan commune), Da Rang river construction sand quarry (Tay Hoa commune), and Hoa Phu soil quarry (Son Thanh commune).
Of which, Cay Me quarry has an area of 60.24 hectares, with an estimated reserve of about 6 million m³. Da Rang River construction sand mine has an area of 70.48 hectares, with an estimated reserve of 2 million m³.

Hoa Phu mine has an area of 18,836 hectares, with a reserve of nearly 1 million m³ of fill soil and accompanying minerals (rolling boulders) of more than 290,000 m³.
Construction stone quarry (Hoa Xuan commune) has an area of 45 hectares, with estimated reserves of about 4 million m³ by 2030, included in the Planning for exploration, exploitation, processing and use of minerals as common construction materials by 2030.

According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the mines basically meet the requirements of planning, legality and reserves. The auction of mining rights is organized publicly and transparently, contributing to increasing budget revenue, creating a stable supply of construction materials for infrastructure projects, thereby promoting the socio -economic development of the province.

Directing the inspection session, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thien Van emphasized that construction material exploitation activities must be associated with environmental protection, fully implementing commitments on land reclamation and landscape restoration after exploitation.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment to continue to coordinate with localities to strengthen inspection and supervision of exploitation activities; proactively detect and promptly handle violations, and resolutely revoke licenses in cases of illegal exploitation. In addition, he requested enterprises to regularly review technology, improve exploitation capacity, ensure labor safety, and actively contribute to the province's socio-economic development in a sustainable direction.
