(Dan Tri) - Last week's notable technology news included the first price reduction for the iPhone Air, the complete design of the Galaxy S26 Ultra revealed, and millions of computers may soon be "abandoned".

iPhone Air price reduction for the first time

On September 19, the iPhone 17 and iPhone Air product lines were officially launched in the Vietnamese market. After about 2 weeks, some authorized Apple dealers began adjusting the selling price of the iPhone Air model.

Specifically, the 512GB iPhone Air is being offered for VND38 million, a VND500,000 reduction from Apple's listed price. The 1TB version is being reduced by VND1 million, down to VND44 million. Meanwhile, the 256GB version remains unchanged.

In contrast to the out-of-stock situation of the iPhone 17 Pro Max, the supply of the iPhone Air is relatively abundant. According to dealers, the number of users interested in the iPhone Air product line is not much compared to the iPhone 17 versions.

Meta AI has important changes

On its official website, Meta has just announced some changes to its privacy policy. Accordingly, starting from December 16, Meta will use the content that users interact with AI to personalize content and recommend ads on the company's platforms.

Galaxy S26 Ultra full design revealed

According to leaked images, the Galaxy S26 Ultra still maintains the familiar design language with a flat screen, thin bezels and a "hole-punch" front camera.

Physical buttons such as the power button and volume rocker are still located on the right side. However, the notable difference lies in the rear camera cluster. Instead of separate lenses, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is said to have a camera cluster placed on a floating island, similar to the design of the Galaxy Z Fold7.

Although the exterior design does not have many breakthroughs, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to have significant upgrades in internal configuration.

Millions of computers are about to be "abandoned"

On October 14, Microsoft will stop supporting the Windows 10 operating system. From that point on, computers running Windows 10 will no longer receive regular security updates, making them vulnerable to viruses and malware if they remain connected to the Internet.

Launched in 2015, Windows 10 still accounts for about 45.6% of the global computer market share, equivalent to more than 600 million devices. The removable battery allows for up to 50 minutes of continuous use when mopping or 60 minutes when vacuuming.
