At around 4:30 p.m. on October 20, a fire was discovered in the loggia area of a top-floor apartment at the Rivergate Residence apartment building in Khanh Hoi Ward, Ho Chi Minh City (formerly District 4). The fire quickly flared up, accompanied by black smoke covering the exterior of the building, then spreading to other rooms.
Many people in the apartment building and surrounding areas gathered to watch the incident from afar.

Upon receiving the news, the Ho Chi Minh City Fire Prevention and Fighting Force dispatched about 6 fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene. The authorities quickly deployed their teams, sprayed water to extinguish the fire, and evacuated people from the dangerous area.

Rivergate Residence luxury apartment project is located at 151-155 Ben Van Don, old District 4, with a total area of over 7,000 m2. The project consists of 2 towers of 27 and 33 floors, providing products such as residential apartments, officetel apartments and shophouses.
