Fire at leather shoe company in Nam Dinh

A fire suddenly broke out at a leather shoe warehouse in Nghia Hai commune (Nghia Hung district, Nam Dinh ), with smoke rising dozens of meters high.

At noon on December 19, speaking with reporters, the leader of Nghia Hai Commune People's Committee confirmed that a fire had just occurred in the area.

Accordingly, at about 10:00 a.m. the same day, at the warehouse of a leather shoe company in hamlet 3, Phu Tho (Nghia Hai commune), a fire suddenly broke out and quickly spread throughout the warehouse.

Upon receiving the news, local authorities and fire prevention and rescue forces quickly mobilized fire fighting vehicles to the scene to handle the fire.

Up to now, the fire has been controlled, no human casualties.

“The fire broke out in the company’s warehouse, separate from the production area where workers were working. The initial cause was determined to be an electrical short circuit,” said the leader of Nghia Hai Commune People’s Committee.
