House fire in Vinh Binh commune, estimated damage of 150 million VND

On July 4, in Vinh Binh commune (An Giang province), a fire broke out, burning down a house, causing an estimated loss of 150 million VND.

On the afternoon of July 3, the house of Mr. Nguyen Hung Cuong and Ms. Vo Thi Ut Nuoi, ​​residing in Xeo Gia hamlet, Vinh Binh commune, caught fire due to an electrical short circuit. The fire destroyed the house and property of Mr. Cuong's family, causing an estimated loss of over 150 million VND.

Mr. Cuong’s family is near-poor, with two young children still in school. He and his wife do not have stable jobs and have unstable income.

Upon receiving the news, on the morning of July 4, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Binh commune and benefactors visited, encouraged and presented money and gifts to support Mr. Cuong's family, with a total value of more than 50 million VND.

Currently, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Binh commune is receiving support resources for Mr. Cuong's family.
