At hotels with prime locations around the Han River or in the city center, where it is easy to fully view the fireworks displays, guests have booked rooms for the final night a month in advance. For hotels near the beach such as My Khe, the situation is similar. On online booking platforms, mid-range 3-4 star hotels all announced that they were fully booked on July 13-14. Contacting a series of hotels, they received information that on the occasion of the 2024 Da Nang International Fireworks Final, the number of guests increased so the rooms were fully booked early, with guests booking a long time ago. Having the opportunity to travel to Da Nang on July 13-14, Mr. Truong Giang struggled to find a hotel room. "My family has 2 adults and 1 child. From today until the flight date is 10 days away. Because we were subjective, we waited until the day of departure to book a hotel room, so now it is very difficult to find a room. On booking platforms, 3-star hotels with average prices are all full, so we accept booking more expensive rooms. I think, in about 3-4 days, there will probably only be 5-star rooms left," said Mr. Truong Giang. Not only hotels near the beach and in the central area, homestays without beautiful views are still "sold out" due to the surge in visitors to Da Nang on July 13-14. Not to mention, hotel room prices during the fireworks display nights as well as the final night have fluctuated, increasing by 10-15% compared to normal days. According to information from the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City, the total number of guests served by accommodation establishments in the first 3 nights of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2024 reached 198,257, an increase of 11.7% compared to DIFF 2023. Of which, international visitors are estimated at 80,442 (up 29.6%), domestic visitors are 117,815 (up 2.1%). The city's room occupancy rate is 70-75%.
