The Association of Journalists of Environment and Life Magazine held a congress for the 2023-2026 term.

At the congress, on behalf of the Environment and Life Magazine Association, presenting a report at the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Hung Thang - General Secretary of the Editorial Board, Head of the Readers' Committee in charge of inspecting the Association reviewed the achievements of the past term. During this period, despite many difficulties and challenges, the Environment and Life Magazine still strived to achieve many remarkable results in terms of expertise, always demonstrating and performing well the tasks and missions of the team of journalists.

The members of the association constantly innovate the content and methods of operation; consolidate and improve the organizational structure; mobilize and encourage journalists to fulfill their responsibilities well. At the same time, they always pay attention to the work of caring for, nurturing and building human resources with steadfast political qualities and solid professional expertise, sharp and flexible in perceiving and analyzing problems to carry out and complete assigned tasks well.

During its operation, the Magazine has always performed well its role as the mouthpiece of the Central Association of Clean Water and Environment of Vietnam, together with the Central Association proactively expanding relations, participating in political - social - professional organizations to exploit strengths, seek cooperation, joint ventures with Associations and specialized Associations in the field of environment and water in the world and in the region.

The Association has coordinated with the Magazine to organize many forums and specialized discussions on environment, water, climate change and has been highly appreciated by experts, managers and scientists. In addition, the Association has coordinated with the Magazine to carry out many social and charitable activities, giving gifts to families of wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, single-parent families in difficult circumstances, and poor but excellent students.

Acknowledging the efforts of the Journalists Association of Environment and Life Magazine in the past term, Ms. Vu Thi Ha, Executive Committee Member, Head of the Working Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association, hopes that in the new term, the Association will continue to closely follow the key tasks, firstly, taking advantage of the leadership of the Party Committee, the leadership of the Vietnam Clean Water and Environment Association, and well implementing Directive No. 43-CT/TW of the Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership over the activities of the Vietnam Journalists Association in the new situation.

Second, implement the Politburo's conclusion on the implementation of the Directive "On promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle"; carry out emulation movements, have specific professional activities, closely follow the Resolution of the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Journalists Association for the 2020-2025 term with 15 key tasks, concretize these 15 key tasks into the Association's program of activities in the coming time and can integrate them into their professional expertise to enhance the richness and quality of the Association's activities, continue to effectively launch emulation to build a cultural environment in press agencies.

Ms. Vu Thi Ha expressed her hope that in the coming time, the Association will continue to pay attention to, consolidate, and perfect the Association's organization and develop its members, contributing to the further development of the Association.
