(Dan Tri) - In 2025, the National Economics University will enroll students according to three main admission methods: direct admission, admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam, and combined admission.
On the afternoon of January 3, the National Economics University officially issued the 2025 enrollment plan.
In 2025, this university plans to enroll 73 majors/programs with 89 training programs.

The direct admission method applies to candidates who won first, second, and third prizes in national and international excellent student competitions organized and sent by the Ministry of Education and Training ; the time of winning the prize is not more than 3 years from the time of direct admission and graduating from high school in 2025 will be considered for direct admission to the major the candidate registered for according to the allocation quota of the National Economics University.
Candidates who win first prizes in national and international science and technology competitions organized and nominated by the Ministry of Education and Training; the time of winning the prize is not more than 3 years from the time of direct admission and high school graduation in 2025 will be considered for direct admission to majors according to the list announced by the National Economics University.
Based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam , this university uses 4 groups, including A00 (math, physics, chemistry), A01 (math, physics, English), D01 (math, literature, English), D07 (math, chemistry, English) and there is no difference in admission scores between the admission groups.
Thus, in 2025, the National Economics University will stop 5 admission combinations compared to 2024, including B00 (math, chemistry, biology), C03 (math, literature, history), C04 (literature, math, geography), D09 (math, history, English), D10 (math, geography, English).
The combined admission method applies to all admission codes in 2025 and to all groups of candidates.
Group 1 : Includes candidates with international SAT or ACT certificates.
To be eligible for admission, candidates must have a SAT score of 1,200 or higher or an ACT score of 26 or higher within 2 years from June 1, 2025.
Group 2: Includes candidates with a HSA score from Hanoi National University or an APT score from Ho Chi Minh City National University or a TSA score from Hanoi University of Science and Technology or candidates with an international English certificate (CCTAQT) combined with one of the HSA/APT/TSA scores mentioned above.
Conditions for receiving application documents: Candidates must have HSA score of 85 points or higher, APT score of 700 points or higher, or TSA score of 60 points or higher; or candidates must have CCTAQT score of IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 46 or TOEIC (4 skills: L&R 785, S 160 &W 150) or higher combined with HSA/APT/TSA scores mentioned above.

The above HSA/APT/TSA and CCTAQT test scores must be obtained within the 2-year period ending June 1, 2025.
Group 3 : Includes candidates with international English certificates combined with high school graduation exam scores in 2025.
Conditions for receiving application documents: Candidates must have an international English certificate within 2 years from June 1, 2025, achieving IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 46 or TOEIC (4 skills: L&R 785, S 160, W 150) or higher and have a high school graduation exam score in 2025 in math and 1 other subject other than English in the university admission groups.
Tuition from 18 to 25 million VND
The National Economics University also announced that the expected tuition fee for the regular university training program is from 15 to 18 million VND. The roadmap for tuition fee increase is a maximum of 10%/year according to regulations.
