Mr. Ly Van Huan, a resident of Ban Ben village, said: The sudden flood on the evening of September 29 devastated Viet Hong commune, especially Ban Ben village. His house was flooded about 1.5 meters deep, many belongings were damaged and swept away. Fortunately, at about 9:30 a.m. on October 2, he recovered some of his belongings found by soldiers of Regiment 174; including a Samsung phone and a pair of earrings belonging to his wife, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhu Thu. The family is very grateful and thankful to the soldiers.
