In the 2022-2025 term, the Youth Union of the People's Army Newspaper has thoroughly implemented resolutions and directives of Party committees at all levels; closely followed the tasks of the agency, operated in accordance with its functions and tasks; comprehensively and synchronously deployed and actively innovated the content, form and methods of operation; quality and efficiency were gradually improved, contributing to the successful implementation of political tasks, building a strong and clean Party organization, a comprehensively strong agency that is "exemplary and typical".

The forms of propaganda and education are innovated, linked to political events, major holidays, activities related to the source, gratitude, cultural and sports exchanges, and voluntary blood donation to create motivation to practice and build the mettle of journalist soldiers.

The grassroots Youth Union has been awarded many emulation flags and certificates of merit by the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army and superior agencies; the collectives and individuals have achieved many outstanding achievements.

In addition to the achieved results, the draft Political Report also recognizes and specifically evaluates the limitations, points out the causes, and draws lessons from the practical implementation of the tasks of the Youth Union and youth movements.

With the slogan of action "Youth of the People's Army Newspaper: united, pioneering, creative, determined to win", the congress determined that the 2025-2030 term will focus on 3 breakthroughs: Breakthrough in improving the quality and efficiency of professional and technical work; proactively improving the quality of implementing the Youth Union's movements and digital transformation; improving the capacity and responsibility to set an example of the Youth Union's cadres.

Speaking at the congress, Colonel Ngo Anh Thu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the People's Army Newspaper, acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the results achieved in the work of the Youth Union and youth movement in the past term. At the same time, he requested that in the 2025-2030 term, the grassroots Youth Union should regularly grasp and seriously implement the Party's resolutions and directives, closely following the leadership and direction of the Party Committee and Editorial Board.

Proactively advise and create conditions for cadres, union members and youth to study, practice, promote their pioneering and creative roles, contributing to the completion of the editorial office's political tasks. Organize emulation movements associated with political tasks; build the right motivation, professional awareness, and self-awareness for union members and youth. Closely coordinate with mass organizations and youth organizations of localities and affiliated units in propaganda and education work, organize movements and activities to show gratitude and repay kindness, contributing to spreading the image of the youth of the People's Army Newspaper as dynamic and responsible.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Youth Union for the 2025-2030 term. Captain Nguyen Tuan Huy was elected to hold the position of Secretary of the Youth Union of the People's Army Newspaper for the 2025-2030 term.
