Hanoi: Officers and soldiers of the Military Medical Academy help people cross flooded areas.

On October 7 and 8, Phung Hung Street (Ha Dong Ward, Hanoi) was deeply flooded by heavy rain. The Military Medical Academy mobilized officers, staff, and soldiers to help people overcome flooded areas, including many patients being treated at Military Hospital 103 and K Hospital Tan Trieu.

The Military Medical Academy's force of 20 officers, staff, and soldiers; specialized trucks were on duty at flooded areas from 6 a.m. to support people and vehicles through flooded areas.

Participating in helping the people, Lieutenant Pham Minh Luong, driver of the Military Medical Academy, said: "As soon as we received the mission, we quickly prepared our forces and equipment according to the combat readiness plan, helping people overcome the flooded area on Phung Hung Street."

People coming to see a doctor at Military Hospital 103 are transported to the assembly area.

Ms. Do Thi Thanh Huyen (27 years old, in Xuan Mai, Chuong My, Hanoi ), said: “On the way to work, Phung Hung Street was flooded so deeply that motorbikes could not pass. The officers, staff, and soldiers of the Military Medical Academy enthusiastically helped me and many people cross the flooded area to ensure safety.”

The enthusiastic support of officers, staff and soldiers of the Military Medical Academy has helped people overcome difficulties and spread the spirit of solidarity between the army and the people.
