During the past term, the 82nd Regiment's Youth Union thoroughly grasped and strictly implemented the directives and resolutions of Party committees at all levels, the direction and guidance of superiors, closely followed the political tasks of the unit, operated in accordance with its functions and tasks; comprehensively and synchronously deployed, actively innovated the content, form and methods of operation, especially in the context of complicated natural disasters and epidemics. The quality and effectiveness of the Youth Union's activities and youth movements were gradually improved, contributing to the successful implementation of the Regiment's political tasks, building the Regiment's Party Committee to excellently complete its typical tasks, and a strong, comprehensive unit "exemplary and typical".

The Regiment's grassroots Youth Union has actively innovated the content and form of education , fostered ideals, enhanced political qualities, and strengthened the confidence of union members and youth in the Party's leadership and the country's renewal process. It closely linked the implementation of emulation movements with revolutionary action movements, campaigns of the Military Region, the Army, and youth nationwide. In addition, it has done a good job of reviewing and classifying outstanding union members, setting targets, and promptly introducing outstanding union members to Party committees at all levels for consideration and proposing admission to the Party according to the established plan. In the past term, the 82nd Regiment's grassroots Youth Union introduced more than 70 outstanding union members to the Party; nearly 200 union members were trained in Party awareness...

Accordingly, the youth union work and youth movement in the next term will focus on implementing 6 targets, 4 key task groups and 3 breakthroughs: Pioneering innovation, improving the quality of training and exercises to meet new combat conditions; pioneering the promotion of formality building, discipline management and administrative reform, digital transformation; pioneering the improvement of the capacity and advisory responsibility of agencies and promoting the role and responsibility of setting an example of cadres and union members, first of all, the contingent of youth union cadres at all levels.
