Chairman of Phu Tho Fatherland Front awarded 1 billion VND to support Thanh Ba district to overcome the consequences of storms and floods

At the meeting, the leaders of Thanh Ba district quickly informed about the damage caused by storm No. 3 in the district. According to the report of the District Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue, due to the impact of storm No. 3 and the post-storm circulation, it caused damage to property, traffic, irrigation, and crops of the people; 150 households had to evacuate many areas of cultivated land along the Thao River, and culverts and streams were eroded. According to initial statistics, the total damage was over 2.5 billion VND.

The leaders of the Fatherland Front of Phu Tho province presented 1 billion VND to support Thanh Ba district to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.

On behalf of the leaders of Phu Tho province, Mr. Nguyen Hai, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province sent condolences and sympathized with the losses that Thanh Ba district people are suffering; at the same time, donated 1 billion VND to support the district in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.

The Chairman of the Phu Tho Provincial Fatherland Front Committee hopes that local Party committees and authorities will continue to pay attention, direct, and actively support and help people take measures to promptly overcome the consequences of damage caused by storms and floods, restore production and business activities, and protect security and order in the locality.
