Final round of the contest "Women in charge - Lighting the fire of success"

On the morning of June 23, the Provincial Women's Union coordinated with AEA (Aide et Action) to organize the final round of the contest "Women in charge - Lighting the fire of success" in 2025.

The final round of the contest has the content: "Telling stories through photos, videos, and clips about beautiful examples and images of women in start-up activities, economic development, and community production labor in 2025".

The contest aims to recognize and honor traditional values, spread beautiful examples and images of Lao Cai women in labor and production; raise awareness of the role and position of women in socio-economic development, building new rural areas, civilized urban areas...

The contest is implemented in units benefiting from the project "Promoting careers and businesses for youth and women in Lao Cai province", including: Bac Ha district, Sa Pa town and Lao Cai city. The subjects are officials, members, youth, women, members of the "Community Media Team", students, photographers, female reporters, female journalists, and female entrepreneurs.

The contest submission period is from May 8, 2025 to May 30, 2025. The contest organizers received 169 entries, and through scoring, selected the 15 best entries from 14 authors to enter the final round.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 Special Prize, 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, and 3 Third Prizes to the contestants.

The work "Red Dao women with the determination to enhance economic power from Red Dao medicinal leaves" by author Ly May Pham (Sa Pa town) excellently received the Special Prize of the contest.
