In particular, prolonged heavy rains caused the water level of Lao Vang Lake (Phin Ngan) to rise, the water level through the spillway built and managed by Leader Nam Tien Hydropower Joint Stock Company was so large that it broke the concrete road through the spillway at the foot of the dam, disrupting traffic, affecting the circulation of people and students of Phin Ngan Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary Schools; especially the daily food supply for boarding students.

To support the people in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, the People's Committee of Bat Xat commune has issued a document requesting Leader Nam Tien Hydropower Joint Stock Company to quickly support the people in repairing the road through the Lao Vang spillway; to review the roads leading to the factory area, the hydropower dam, and the downstream foot to promptly repair the damage. On the other hand, the Company needs to proactively regularly maintain and repair the roads that have been degraded and damaged by the operation of the factory's heavy-duty vehicles; to coordinate with Bat Xat Electricity to warn and guide people not to travel in areas where electric wires and poles are broken or broken to ensure the safety of the power grid and the lives of the people.
