Storm No. 10 has caused damage to many localities across the country, especially the provinces and cities in the North and Central regions. Many meaningful activities have taken place to join hands to support people in flood-affected areas.

On October 6, the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province launched and received contributions to support people affected by storm No. 10 (Bualoi).

At the launching ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, called on Party committees, authorities, agencies, organizations, cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, soldiers of the armed forces, religious organizations, social organizations, businesses, philanthropists and all people inside and outside the province, with affection and golden hearts, to join hands to support and help people in flood-affected areas to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and soon stabilize their lives.

Promoting the tradition of national solidarity with the spirit of "mutual love", "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves"; The Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province hopes that those who have money contribute money, those who have merit contribute merit, those who have little contribute little, those who have much contribute much. In which, each cadre, civil servant, public employee, armed force, and worker in the province is mobilized to support 1 day's salary. People of all walks of life, religious organizations, agencies, units, and enterprises in the province support voluntarily, depending on their ability.

In the coming time, the Fatherland Front at all levels will proactively advise local Party committees and authorities on long-term solutions for natural disaster prevention and control; integrate the content of supporting and overcoming the consequences of storms and floods into emulation movements and major campaigns such as "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", "The whole country joins hands for the poor - leaving no one behind". Right at the launching ceremony, with the spirit of sharing and reaching out to people in storm and flood-affected areas, 35 agencies, units and enterprises in the province joined hands to support more than 5.7 billion VND.

In order to share with the people in Thanh Hoa province who suffered damage caused by storm No. 10, on October 6, in Tien Trang commune, Kim Oanh Real Estate Group, co-founder and operator of the "Start-up Fund from the Heart" (Ho Chi Minh City), presented 900 million VND in support to 3 schools and households in the commune.

Chairwoman of Tien Trang Commune People's Committee Tran Thi Hue said: The whirlwind and high tide caused by storm No. 10 flooded 2,000 houses, damaged nearly 90 houses, fields, rafts, aquaculture, seafood cold storage, restaurants and 6 schools, especially schools: Quang Thach Kindergarten, Quang Nham Kindergarten and Secondary School were severely damaged. Although the locality proactively responded in the spirit of "4 on-site", the storm caused more than 17 billion VND in property damage in Tien Trang Commune.

Mr. Nguyen Thuan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kim Oanh Real Estate Group, co-founder and director of the "Heart Start-up Fund", hopes that this support money will be a source of encouragement, sharing difficulties, contributing to the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front, and local political system to promptly support households to quickly repair and build houses, stabilize their lives soon; at the same time, support schools to repair facilities, purchase equipment for teaching and learning, ensure the right to study, and continuously improve the quality of child care and education.

Continuing the tradition of "helping each other", the Group and the "Startup Fund from the Heart" decided to spend 10 billion VND to support people in areas severely damaged by natural disasters in 7 provinces in the Northern and Central regions; in which, the unit directly supported people and units in Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Ninh Binh provinces with an amount of 5.4 billion VND.
