Throughout 95 years of revolutionary history, from the first Party Cell with 9 party members to July 1, 2025, after merging the Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee with the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, there were more than 137,200 party members; 100% of villages, hamlets, neighborhoods, and organizations and units have Party Cells.
On October 5, at the historical site where the first Communist Party cell in Phu Yen was established in Long Binh village, Dong Xuan commune , Dak Lak province, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the first Communist Party cell in Phu Yen (October 5, 1930 - October 5, 2025).
Reading a speech reviewing the 95-year history since the founding of the first Communist Party cell, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Council Cao Thi Hoa An emphasized that only 8 months after the Communist Party of Vietnam was founded on February 3, 1930, the first Party cell in Phu Yen was born on October 5, 1930 in Dong Be hamlet, Phuoc Long village, Xuan Long commune, Dong Xuan district, Phu Yen province, now in Dong Xuan commune, Dak Lak province, a rugged mountainous area.
The Party cell initially had 9 party members with comrade Phan Luu Thanh as its first Party cell secretary. The establishment of the first Communist Party cell in Phu Yen was a political event of great historical significance, marking the beginning of the heroic and glorious revolutionary struggle of the Party and people of Phu Yen province. After its establishment, the Party cell quickly gathered, propagated, and enlightened many patriotic and progressive masses, strongly promoting the establishment of Party bases.
By January 1931, the Phu Yen Provisional Provincial Party Committee was established. Since then, the Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee has led the army and people of Phu Yen to many important victories in the August Revolution, the resistance war against French colonialism and American imperialism. The Phu Yen Party Committee, army and people continued to promote the glorious revolutionary struggle tradition of their homeland, united in one heart, strived to achieve many important and comprehensive achievements in all fields.

“The merger of the two Party Committees as well as the two provinces of Dak Lak and Phu Yen has many advantages, with an area of 18,096 km 2 , a population of more than 3.3 million people, a coastline of 189 km long... creating a new development space, new resources, larger, diverse in culture and identity, with abundant potential, greater potential, stronger”, Comrade Cao Thi Hoa An affirmed.
Dak Lak province, after 3 months of implementing the operation of the 2-level local government, has gradually stabilized its operations. Party committees, authorities at all levels, cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers are making efforts towards the goal of serving the people better and bringing the government closer to the people.
In particular, the organization of the Congress of Party Committees under the Provincial Party Committee and the 1st Congress of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, was a great success. The Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in the province have great expectations for a Dak Lak that develops rapidly, sustainably, civilized and has its own identity in the coming years...
On this occasion, Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee presented 20 gifts to policy families in Dong Xuan commune.
