Dear Ambassador, could you please share about the outstanding achievements after 75 years of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea?

North Korean Ambassador to Vietnam Ri Sung Guk : The friendly and cooperative relationship between North Korea and Vietnam is a precious relationship personally built and painstakingly nurtured by the two countries' predecessor leaders.

Comrade Kim Il Sung, the great Leader, had a close and profound relationship with Comrade President Ho Chi Minh, the beloved Leader of the Vietnamese people, based on genuine comradeship and revolutionary sentiment. He supported and selflessly provided spiritual and material support to the Vietnamese people's resistance war against the US to save the country.

In the common struggle against imperialism, for autonomy and socialism, the precious tradition of sincere friendship, support and cooperation in times of difficulty was built and became the key factor helping the relationship between the two countries overcome all historical storms and move forward on the trajectory of sustainable development.

The DPRK-Vietnam friendship and cooperation, imbued with the lofty values ​​of the two countries' predecessors, has been elevated to a new high stage through the historic official friendship visit to Vietnam by Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, in March 2019.

Over the past 75 years, the two countries have continuously expanded and developed relations in the political, economic and cultural fields, and closely coordinated in regional and international forums.
