According to Mirror , at around 2am on September 3rd, Ryley Goles, an American independent tourist , arrived at Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade, Serbia. According to the plan, the 23-year-old girl would spend 3 days exploring this European country.

Since the plane landed early in the morning, Ryley didn’t think it was worth spending $17 on a night in a motel. Instead, she wanted to use the money she saved to visit a video game museum in the city.
Since all the benches in the airport were occupied, the female traveler decided to take a nap in the restroom at her mother's suggestion, believing it was a "safe" option because the door was locked.
Images captured by Ryley in a video posted on her personal page show her covering herself with clothes to avoid direct skin contact with the floor while waiting for the bus service to start operating into the city center.

However, after sharing her experience, the American female tourist received many harsh reactions from social media users.
"Girl, I can send you that money" or "If I didn't have much money, I would choose to stay home instead of traveling",... are some of the comments under Ryley's post. Some opinions also criticized the group of backpackers who often advocate saving money as much as possible and not spending even when necessary.
In response, the female tourist emphasized that she was aware that it was an "unclean" choice, so she wore long pants and used a bag as a pillow to keep her body from touching the floor, and advised others not to do the same.
Eventually, the female tourist fell asleep and was discovered by a cleaning staff member who tapped her leg several times to wake her up. Ryley said that if she had to choose again, she would sleep on the airport floor instead of the restroom. However, the restroom is still a safer choice because it has a lockable door and no worries about losing things.
