On October 7, in Dam Rong 3 commune and Truong Xuan commune, Lam Dong province, the Provincial Police organized the groundbreaking ceremony to build 49 houses for poor households, near-poor households, policy families and households with especially difficult circumstances in ethnic minority areas.

According to the plan, by the end of November 2025, Lam Dong Provincial Police will complete the construction of 49 houses for families with the above conditions and circumstances with a total cost of more than 4.8 billion VND, supported by the Vietnam National Coal-Mineral Industries Group .

The houses are designed to suit natural conditions, customs and habits of the people; ensuring solidity, durability and long-term use.

Colonel Huynh Ngoc Liem, Deputy Director of Lam Dong Provincial Police, spoke at the groundbreaking ceremony of Dam Rong 3 commune.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Huynh Ngoc Liem, Deputy Director of Lam Dong Provincial Police, emphasized that this is an activity demonstrating the sense of responsibility and affection of the police force towards people in remote and isolated areas. At the same time, he called on all levels, sectors, businesses and people to join hands and coordinate closely so that the program can achieve practical results.

He hopes that people will actively participate, support, supervise and protect the project, so that each house is not only a place to live but also a symbol of solidarity and military-civilian affection.

The Deputy Director of Lam Dong Provincial Police affirmed his determination to work with the entire force to complete the program, bringing solid, warm and affectionate homes, demonstrating the spirit of "serving the people" of the People's Police force.

On the same day, as part of the above program, many communes in Lam Dong province started to build and remove temporary and dilapidated houses for families in ethnic minority areas.
