Implementing Official Dispatch No. 26 dated October 4, 2025 of the Ministry of Public Security on focusing on responding to the developments of storm No. 11 and urgently overcoming the consequences of storm No. 10 and post-storm floods, on October 5, Lang Son Provincial Police issued an Official Dispatch directing the Police of units and localities in the province to synchronously deploy measures, focus on responding to the developments of storm No. 11, continue to overcome the consequences of storm No. 10 and post-storm floods.
On October 6 and 7, Lang Son Provincial Police deployed response plans, mobilized maximum forces and means, coordinated with local Party committees, authorities and functional forces to carry out rescue work, evacuate people and property from dangerous areas, ensuring absolute safety for people and property.

At the same time, Lang Son Provincial Police also thoroughly grasped and best implemented the "4 on-the-spot" motto; prepared forces, equipment, and means to serve the work of natural disaster prevention and control, search and rescue; fully stocked with food, drinking water, medicine, medical supplies, essential supplies, generators, etc., promptly and proactively responding to all situations; well-organized guidance, traffic flow, ensuring traffic safety, strictly controlling people and vehicles through tunnels, spillways, deep flooded areas, fast-flowing water, and landslide areas.
In addition, the leaders of Lang Son Provincial Police directly inspected and directed key areas, requiring units to maintain 100% of their personnel on duty, carefully check areas at risk of flooding and landslides, promptly warn and be ready to rescue when situations arise.

On the afternoon of October 7, due to prolonged heavy rain, the water flowed quickly and strongly, causing the Bac Khe hydroelectric dam (Tan Tien commune, Lang Son province) to break. The local police force urgently coordinated with functional forces to deploy on-site forces to respond to the incident; at the same time, propagandize and support the evacuation of all people in the downstream area to a safe place.

In the communes of Van Nham, That Khe, Bac Son, Huu Lung, Binh Gia, Vu Le, Chien Thang, Yen Binh, Vu Lang... the local police force is always present in time in deeply flooded areas, at risk of landslides, coordinating with local authorities to help people move people, property, and livestock to safety; set up checkpoints, divert traffic; support cleanup and overcome consequences after storms.

"Every officer and soldier of Lang Son Provincial Police is determined to stay close to the locality, promote the spirit of "Serving the people", contribute to ensuring the safety of people's lives and property, maintain order and social security in the province", affirmed Colonel Trieu Tuan Hai, Deputy Director of Lang Son Provincial Police.
Currently, the police force across Lang Son province continues to be present in key areas, coordinating with functional forces to support people in responding to and overcoming the consequences of floods, contributing to protecting the safety of people's lives and property.

Due to the influence of the weakened low pressure area from storm No. 11 combined with high-altitude wind convergence, causing heavy rain over a wide area, combined with flood discharge from hydroelectric lakes and reservoirs, the water level in rivers and streams of Lang Son province is currently gathering and floods are rising very quickly.
Therefore, people need to be vigilant and closely monitor the situation. People in low-lying areas and areas at risk of landslides need to urgently evacuate people and property to a safe place. In particular, it is necessary to proactively respond, not be subjective, negligent, or take the situation lightly, and try to minimize damage caused by natural disasters.
