Regarding the story of Chagee milk tea appearing for the first time in the Vietnamese market, all store billboards at the Dong Khoi - Nguyen Thiep intersection, Ben Nghe ward, District 1, HCMC have been removed.

Recorded at noon on March 18, at the premises number 131-133 Dong Khoi, there was no longer a red background billboard with the Chagee brand logo like a few days ago. Instead, there was a dark blue construction barrier.

Speaking with VietNamNet reporter, a security guard of a nearby store said that the replacement of the advertising board at the Chagee milk tea shop premises was done last night.

The premises where Chagee brand plans to open a store is located right at the intersection of Dong Khoi - Nguyen Thiep, is a house with two street frontages, scale of one ground floor and two upper floors, floor area of ​​about 708m2.

Recently, this space was put up for rent at 1 billion VND/month. Although the Chagee milk tea brand logo is no longer on the construction barrier, inside the building, workers continue to renovate and repair.

In recent days, Chinese milk tea brand Chagee has been called for a boycott by domestic consumers because the brand's mobile application (app) displays a map with the illegal "cow tongue line", violating Vietnam's sovereignty .

Although the first store has not officially opened, in all posts on the Chagee Vietnam fanpage from June 2024 until now, there have been many comments from the domestic online community expressing outrage. This fanpage has currently disabled the comment function.
