More than 3 million Northern Electricity customers have had power restored after storm No. 10.

Storm No. 10 and its circulation caused heavy rain, flooding, and landslides in many northern localities, seriously affecting the power system. In this situation, the Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC) urgently deployed forces to focus on restoring power supply to ensure people's daily life and production.

By 8:00 p.m. on October 1, 2025, the 110kV grid had restored all 35/35 transformer stations and 71/73 lines. The medium voltage grid had restored 20,814/26,529 transformer stations, accounting for 78% and 734/808 lines, accounting for 91%.

Of the 3.78 million customers affected, 3 million have had their power restored. There are still 775,790 customers affected by the outage.

Storm No. 10 continues to cause widespread heavy rain, not only the northern mountainous provinces such as Cao Bang , Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang but also Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh are facing the risk of flooding and landslides. The complex weather continues to directly affect the power grid and cause many difficulties in troubleshooting.

In that context, EVNNPC staff are still present at the scene, closely following the area, gradually handling the incident to soon restore power, ensuring normal life for the people.
