
The contest aims to spread the unique features associated with preserving and promoting the value of the World Heritage Complex of Yen Tu-Vinh Nghiem-Con Son, Kiep Bac; introduce images of the land, people, beauty in life, activities, production and natural landscapes in the provinces and cities of Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong.
Previously, on July 12, 2025, the Yen Tu-Vinh Nghiem-Con Son-Kiep Bac Monuments and Landscape Complex was officially recognized by the World Heritage Committee as a World Cultural Heritage of Humanity. This is the first chain-type World Cultural Heritage, and the second inter-provincial heritage among the 9 World Heritage Sites of Vietnam recognized by UNESCO.
According to the regulations of the Organizing Committee, all Vietnamese citizens aged 15 and over, both at home and abroad, and foreigners working, studying and living in Vietnam have the right to participate in the contest. Members of the Steering Committee, Organizing Committee, Jury, and Secretariat of the contest are not allowed to submit entries.

Works participating in the photo contest "Moments of Yen Tu-Vinh Nghiem-Con Son, Kiep Bac heritage" are of all photography genres: landscape, portrait, daily life in the provinces and cities: Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh , Hai Phong.
The works can reflect the landscape, architecture, antiques, precious artifacts at Yen Tu, Vinh Nghiem, Con Son, Kiep Bac; rituals, festivals, folk culture, religious living spaces; portraits of people who preserve, teach or create so that heritage continues to live in modern life; conservation activities associated with tourism development, local economy , or new initiatives in heritage management and exploitation; scenes of daily life, labor, production associated with heritage spaces, demonstrating the connection between heritage and community...

Contest photos are single photos and photo series, in digital form, photo files are in jpg format. The longest dimension is at least 3,500 pixels, resolution 300 dpi.
Specifically, single photo: each photo is a work (each author has the right to submit a maximum of 10 works to the contest). Photo series: a maximum of 3 photo series, each photo series is a work, including from 5 to 8 photos. In case the author submits a photo to the contest including both single photos and photo series, the single photo must not be the same as the photo in the photo series. When uploading the photo to the contest, the author must clearly state the location and time of creation. Works created from 2023 to present are encouraged.
Award-winning works selected for exhibition will be awarded a Certificate by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (VAPA) and scored at the regional level according to the Association's Regulations.
The Organizing Committee has set aside 200 million VND to reward and honor outstanding works. Specifically: 1 First Prize: Gold Medal and 30,000,000 VND. 2 Second Prizes: Each prize includes a Silver Medal and 20,000,000 VND. 3 Third Prizes: Each prize includes a Bronze Medal and 10,000,000 VND and 20 Consolation Prizes: Each prize 5,000,000 VND.
The deadline for receiving entries is March 31, 2026.
The award ceremony and photo exhibition are expected to be held in May 2026.
