Vietnam tourist attractions awarded Asia's leading destinations by WTA

The World Travel Awards (WTA) 2025 Asia-Pacific region officially took place on the evening of October 13 in Hong Kong. Dubbed the “Oscars of the tourism industry”, WTA is the world’s leading prestigious award to honor the best tourism destinations, organizations and businesses in the region and globally.

This year, Vietnam continues to make a strong impression with a series of prestigious awards for destinations from North to South, reflecting the comprehensive, diverse and increasingly professional development of the country's tourism industry.

Ho Chi Minh City is one of the big highlights at WTA 2025 when it was named in 4 important categories:
- Asia's top business travel destination
- Asia's leading festival and event destination
- Top coastal city short break destination in Asia (awarded to Vung Tau)

Hanoi continues to affirm its position as a favorite destination with two important awards:
- Asia's top city destination
- Asia's top short-break city break destination

Ninh Binh made a strong impression with the majestic Trang An landscape, receiving the award for Asia's Leading Emerging Destination.

Quang Tri made its mark on the international awards map for the first time when Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park won a “double” of titles:
- Vietnam's top natural destination
- Asia's top national park

Hoi An Ancient Town continues to maintain its form when it was awarded Asia's Leading Cultural City for the fifth consecutive time.
