Implementing Directive No. 82/CT-BQP (dated May 30, 2025) of the Minister of National Defense on organizing military forces and militia and self-defense forces to participate in parades and marches in the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), referred to as Plan A80, on the morning of August 25, the Department of Military Training - School (General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army) organized joint training and inspection of the training of forces participating in the parade (walking group) in 3 areas: National Military Training Center 4; Hanoi National University; Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism.

The joint training session was conducted online from 3 locations, chaired by Major General Vu Viet Hung, Director of the Department of Military Training - Schools, Deputy Head of the Parade and Marching Subcommittee.
The joint training was attended by 7,413 officers and soldiers of 26 formations in all 3 regions. This was the first joint training, aiming to evaluate the training situation of the formations (walking formations) after 3 weeks of concentrated training according to Plan A80.

At the National Military Training Center 4, 1,296 officers and soldiers participated in the joint training, including 7 groups: female military musicians; female medical officers; female peacekeepers ; female communications soldiers; female special forces soldiers; female militia and self-defense forces of Vietnamese ethnic groups; and female guerrillas from the South.
