Women of Tuong Mai ward: Strongly promote digital transformation, spread the movement "Digital literacy for the masses"

HNP - On September 28, the Women's Union of Tuong Mai Ward organized the 1st Women's Congress of the Ward, term 2025-2030. Comrade Pham Thi Thanh Huong, Permanent Vice President of the City Women's Union attended and gave a speech.

In the period of 2021-2025, women of Tuong Mai ward have promoted the spirit of solidarity, creativity, initiative, actively contributed to socio -economic development, built civilized and happy families, participated in Party and government building. Many practical movements and models have been effectively implemented such as: "Godmother", "Raising economical plastic pigs", "Turning garbage into money", "Civilized - safe - effective market", "Green living women", attracting thousands of members to participate, raising over 1.5 billion VND to support hundreds of women and children in difficult circumstances.

Permanent Vice President of the City Women's Union Pham Thi Thanh Huong presented flowers to congratulate the Congress.

During the past term, the Association admitted 305 new members and 165 honorary members, bringing the total number of members to more than 11,200; introduced 37 outstanding members to the Party for consideration, of which 31 members have become Party members. The work of participating in government building, supervision, and social criticism has been promoted, with 371 comments on documents and 270 comments on the draft Land Law (amended).

Speaking at the Congress, the leaders of the Hanoi Women's Union and the leaders of Tuong Mai ward praised the outstanding results of the ward's Women's Union. At the same time, they suggested that in the new term, it is necessary to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation; strongly promote digital transformation, spread the "Digital Education for All" movement, pay more attention to disadvantaged women and children in difficult circumstances; contribute with the Party Committee and the government to build a civilized, modern Tuong Mai ward with happy people.

The Congress announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Chairman, Vice Chairman and Inspection Committee of the Ward Women's Union, term I; in which, comrade Tran Thi Thuy Hang, Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Ward Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Ward Women's Union, Tuong Mai Ward.
