
To promptly share the difficulties with people in flood-hit areas, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society decided to continue allocating more than 5.7 billion VND in emergency relief, including cash and essential goods, specifically: Bac Ninh province 800 million VND and 120,000 P&G water purifier powder packets; Cao Bang province 800 million VND and 96,000 P&G water purifier powder packets; Tuyen Quang province 600 million VND and 72,000 P&G water purifier powder packets; Thai Nguyen province 800 million VND and 240,000 P&G water purifier powder packets; Lang Son province 500 million VND and 72,000 P&G water purifier powder packets; Lao Cai province 500 million VND and 72,000 P&G water purifier powder packets; Thanh Hoa province 200 million VND and 31,440 P&G water purifier powder packets; Nghe An, Ha Tinh and Quang Tri provinces each received support of 300 million VND.
The funding source is taken from the "Join hands to overcome floods" campaign launched by the Central Association, through account H2025 at Vietcombank .
It is expected that on October 10-11, the Central working delegation of the Vietnam Red Cross Society led by Vice President Vu Thanh Luu and representatives of Vietcombank will directly go to Thai Nguyen province to visit, encourage and give relief gifts to households severely affected by natural disasters.
The Vietnam Red Cross Society continues to promote the "Join hands to overcome floods" campaign (from September 30 to October 30, 2025) calling for the cooperation and contributions of organizations, businesses and people nationwide to support the disaster areas.
