Da Nang provides free cancer screening for 180 disadvantaged female union members

DNO - On the afternoon of October 14, the Da Nang City Labor Federation coordinated with the City Center for Disease Control to organize a free health check-up program to screen for cervical cancer and breast cancer for female union members and workers in difficult circumstances at grassroots unions in industrial parks in the city.

From October 14 to 16, 180 female union members aged 21 to 60 (priority given to those aged 30-55, not pregnant) with especially difficult circumstances from 10 units and enterprises in industrial zones received free cervical cancer and breast cancer screening integrated into gynecological and breast examinations.

Of which, Branch 2 of TBS An Giang Joint Stock Company is allocated 50 union members; Central Seafood Import-Export Joint Stock Company 30 union members; D&N Food Processing Company Limited 20 union members; Long Khai Joint Stock Company Branch in Da Nang and Monstarlab Vietnam Company Limited Branch (each unit has 15 union members); the remaining 5 units each have 10 union members.

The free cervical and breast cancer screening program for female union members in Da Nang aims to contribute to health care, protect the rights of female workers, help union members feel secure in their work, and stay with the company for a long time.
