Da Nang awards 59 outstanding works on protecting the Party's ideological foundation

(CLO) On the afternoon of October 29, the Propaganda Department of the Da Nang City Party Committee held a conference to summarize and award the prizes for the Political Contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation in 2024.

The contest attracted the participation of many groups and individuals, with more than 1,000 entries in many genres such as press, radio, television, and video clips. Many entries have a strong fighting spirit, serving the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation in the current context. The entries deeply reflected the combination of construction and sabotage, focusing on affirming the scientific value of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh's thought.

At the same time, many works offer solutions to improve the effectiveness of the fight against and refute erroneous and hostile views, especially in cyberspace. Some prominent issues mentioned include the work of preventing and combating corruption, negativity, and distortion plots related to the Party's internal affairs.

The Organizing Committee coordinated with the Political School and the Da Nang Radio and Television Station to evaluate and select 258 quality works. Of these, 80 were selected to compete at the Central level. Da Nang City was honored to receive 1 Central Promising Award.

At the summary and awarding conference, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to 59 excellent works, including 5 A prizes, 10 B prizes, 15 C prizes, 25 Encouragement prizes, 3 Promising prizes and 1 prize for senior authors. The Organizing Committee also awarded prizes to 6 excellent collectives including: City Police Party Committee, City Agencies Party Committee, Lien Chieu District Party Committee, Thanh Khe District Party Committee, Hai Chau District Party Committee, Cam Le District Party Committee.
