In 2025, the National Economics University plans to increase tuition fees for all regular majors by 2-3 million VND compared to previous years.

In 2025, the National Economics University plans to enroll 73 majors/programs and 3 main enrollment methods.

Tuition fees for the regular standard program for the 2025-2026 school year, depending on the major/program, range from 18 million VND to 25 million VND/school year (last year's tuition fees ranged from 16 to 22 million VND/year, depending on the major).

Currently, the National Economics University has not announced the tuition fees for applied-oriented programs or English-language programs.

The total expected scholarship fund of the National Economics University in 2025-2026 is 30 billion VND. The school continues to implement student exchange programs with partner universities in Japan, China, Taiwan, India, France, Germany, etc. for short-term periods of 1 academic year, 1 semester, 1 academic month, 3 weeks.

The three main admission methods of the National Economics University include:

One, direct admission, applies to students belonging to one of the following groups: policy beneficiaries, directly admitted according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training ; third prize or higher in national excellent student competitions; first prize or higher in national science and technology competitions.

Second, considering the 2025 high school graduation exam results with 4 groups, including A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Math, Physics, English), D01 (Math, Literature, English), D07 (Math, Chemistry, English), there is no difference between the groups. The threshold to ensure input quality (floor score) with this method is 20 points, as in recent years. Candidates who are eligible for direct admission but do not use it will be given 1-2 points when registering for admission using their graduation exam scores.

Thus, compared to last year, the school stopped 5 admission combinations including: B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology), C03 (Math, Literature, History), C04 (Literature, Math, Geography), D09 (Math, History, English), D10 (Math, Geography, English).

Third, combined admission, for three groups of candidates:

Group 1 is for students with an international SAT certificate of 1200/1600 or ACT 26/36 or higher. These are two popular standardized tests in the US.

Group 2 is for candidates with a minimum score of 85/150 HSA, 700/1200 APT or 60/100 TSA on the aptitude test. Candidates can apply based on their test results alone, or in combination with an international English certificate such as IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 46 or higher.

Group 3 is candidates with an English certificate combined with a graduation exam score in Math and another subject. The certificate requirements are similar to group 2.

This year, the National Economics University will enroll 89 programs, including two new programs: Labor Relations and International Trade Law. The total quota and the quota ratio for each method will be announced later.
