Congress of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, Ninh Thuan province, term 2024

(NADS) - On the morning of November 26, at the Ninh Thuan Provincial Literature and Arts Association, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists of Ninh Thuan Province successfully held the Association Congress for the 2024 - 2029 term.

Artist Nguyen Van Thuong, on behalf of the Vietnam Association of Artists, commended the achievements of the Ninh Thuan Province Association of Artists.

Attending the event were Artist Nguyen Van Thuong - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists in charge of the Southeast region; Mr. Pham Van Muon - Chairman of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Association of Literature and Arts, Representative of the Propaganda Department of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Party Committee, the Internal Security Department of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Police , reporters of Ninh Thuan Newspaper and nearly 25 members of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists in Ninh Thuan Province.

At the Congress, the Executive Committee summarized the activities of the 2019 - 2024 term and the directions and tasks of the 2024 - 2029 term of the Branch; reported the review of the Executive Committee of the Branch and discussed and contributed opinions to the documents of the Branch Congress and the documents of the 10th term Congress of Delegates (2025 - 2030).

According to the Summary Report of the Executive Committee of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Association of Photographers, in the past term, the Association admitted 04 new members, increasing the number of members to 25, which is a source of human resources, abundant creativity and solidarity. The Ninh Thuan Provincial Association of Photographers is always seeking, constantly striving to invest, and foster knowledge and thinking. With the spirit of learning and improving the creative level of its members, the team of photographers in the province has achieved many high results and achievements at regional Photography Festivals, domestic and international competitions. With the awards won at large and small regional, national and international competitions that the authors have achieved, the Photography Association has contributed to affirming the important position of Ninh Thuan Literature and Arts, contributing to the development of Literature and Arts of the whole country.

The congress took place in a democratic spirit, with secret ballots to elect the Branch Executive Committee.

In addition, the Congress also elected the new Executive Committee of the Branch. After the voting ended, the Congress elected a new Executive Committee of the Branch consisting of 3 members, in which NSNA Nguyen Bao Son was elected as Branch Chairman, NSNA Tran Trong Luom and NSNA To Cong Vinh were elected as Branch Vice Chairman. In addition, the Congress also elected 10 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates to attend the National Congress of Delegates for the 10th term (2025-2030) and approved the Resolution of the Congress.
