The first Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Dong Ngac ward was a great success.

HNP - On September 27, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Dong Ngac ward held its first Congress of delegates for the 2025-2030 term. Attending were Duong Ngoc Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Dong Ngac Ward Party Committee, ward leaders and 123 official delegates from 70 grassroots youth organizations under the ward Youth Union, representing 1,040 union members across the ward.

During the past term, the revolutionary action movements of Dong Ngac Ward Youth Union were deployed synchronously. The affiliated youth unions continued to maintain and take on more "Youth Self-Management" routes; maintained "Volunteer Saturday", "Green Sunday" with 250 campaigns attracting about 4,000 union members to participate; 30 youth projects worth 360 million VND, along with a series of environmental protection activities, climate change response, and social security assurance. During the Covid-19 pandemic, more than 500 volunteers were on duty, supporting the testing of 40,000 samples, and transporting relief food to 20,000 households.

The work of building the Youth Union has many positive changes: 1,120 new members were admitted, 135 excellent members were introduced to the Party, far exceeding the set target. The activities of the Youth Union branches are increasingly innovative, the "3 proactive" model is widely deployed. Inspection and supervision work is focused, contributing to improving discipline and order in the organization. The ward Youth Union has made strong use of digital platforms in propaganda, education , and protecting the Party's ideological foundation. These results helped Dong Ngac achieve 8/10 targets, of which two targets far exceeded the plan: admitting new members and introducing excellent members to the Party.

In the new term, Dong Ngac Ward Youth Union promotes the spirit of dedication and the pioneering role of youth in socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, international integration; developing science and technology, innovative startups, digital transformation; protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views; participating in preventing and reducing the crime rate among teenagers.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Dong Ngac Ward Party Committee, Duong Ngoc Thanh, suggested that the Ward Youth Union continue to innovate methods and approaches that are increasingly practical, close and effective to do a good job of fostering and educating revolutionary ideals, ethics, cultural lifestyle, and civic awareness for young people in the current period; associated with continuing to promote the implementation of Directive 05 of the 12th Politburo .

Along with organizing practical revolutionary action movements; attaching importance to summarizing practices and doing a good job of replicating advanced models; both encouraging and honoring advanced youths and young talents, and paying attention to helping youths in difficult circumstances, the Ward Youth Union also organizes and mobilizes youths to participate in solving big, difficult, new and emerging issues in the process of performing tasks.

At the same time, the ward Youth Union discovered and nurtured new factors, young people with ideals, enthusiasm for dedication, and the ability to turn dreams into reality. Focusing on training and nurturing grassroots cadres, according to each type of activity, building a cadre team with qualities and skills in organizing and mobilizing youth, especially enthusiastic cadres, eager to contribute to the youth, to the Youth Union and Association movement.

The Congress announced the Decision of the Hanoi Youth Union to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and Inspection Committee of the Dong Ngac Ward Youth Union for the 2025 - 2030 term. Comrade Ha Tran Trung and comrade Le Thi Tieu Hau were appointed to hold the position of Deputy Secretaries of the Dong Ngac Ward Youth Union for the 2025 - 2030 term.
