HNP - On September 27, Kien Hung ward solemnly held the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the ward, term 2025 - 2030. The Congress had the participation of 115 outstanding youth union members representing over 1,200 youth union members of the ward.

The Congress took place in a vibrant atmosphere of competition to achieve achievements to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2025), while also looking forward to the 18th Hanoi Party Congress and the 14th National Congress of the Party. This is an important political event, marking a new development step of the Youth Union and the youth movement of Kien Hung ward; affirming the pioneering role, creativity, sense of responsibility and aspiration to contribute of the youth to the cause of building and developing the homeland.

The advisory, direction and coordination work of the Youth Union has many innovations, is timely, proactive and effective. During the term, the Youth Union of the ward always adheres to the annual working theme, proactively builds programs and implementation plans. to each branch. Many new activities and difficult tasks have been implemented effectively. The direction has been gradually innovated in a scientific , drastic, timely, focused, grassroots-oriented direction, valuing grassroots activities, closely linked to the political tasks of the locality, unit and the needs and aspirations of the youth. Guidance on organizing activities for subordinate branches according to 08 emulation clusters has been effective.

Propaganda and education work has diversified content and innovative methods. Every year, 100% of union cadres and over 90% of union members study and thoroughly understand the directives and resolutions of the Party and the Union; many competitions, forums, and propaganda activities have attracted thousands of union members and young people to participate, contributing to fostering revolutionary ideals, strengthening the belief and aspiration to contribute to the younger generation. During the term, the ward Union organized 10 study sessions and thoroughly understanding resolutions; 02 learning competitions in the form of ringing the golden bell, 01 storytelling competition...

The Presidium of the Congress

Revolutionary action movements were deployed synchronously, bringing practical results. The "Youth Volunteer" movement associated with building urban civilization, environmental protection, and social security has created a strong spread, with meaningful activities: painting 25 murals on an area of ​​over 500m2; ² organized nearly 100 sessions of peeling, erasing, illegal advertising, classified ads, volunteer labor, and general environmental sanitation in the ward with the participation of more than 500 youth union members; planting over 300 new trees, maintaining dozens of "Youth Self-Management" routes, the "Youth Volunteers to Protect the Fatherland" movement achieved many practical results, 100% of young people of military age were ready to join the army.

During the past term, the Youth Union branches coordinated to propagate the Youth Union members to perform military service, nearly 15 Youth Union members voluntarily wrote applications to join the army. Coordinated to organize visits and give gifts to relatives of soldiers working in the border and island areas of the Fatherland, people with meritorious services to the revolution on the occasion of July 27 and Lunar New Year. Coordinated to propagate and talk about traditions. Actively participated in maintaining security and order in the locality.

The work of accompanying young people in studying, career, starting a business, and skill training is increasingly going into depth. Currently, the Ward Youth Union manages 05 savings and loan groups, maintaining the "Youth Booth" model. Coordinated with business units to organize the "Startup Innovation Forum" attracting more than 200 young people to participate. Cultural, artistic, and sports activities are organized enthusiastically, meeting legitimate needs, creating a useful and interesting playground for union members and young people.

The work of building the Youth Union organization has had many positive changes. During the term, the whole ward admitted over 500 new members, established and consolidated 52 branches with nearly 1,200 members; in particular, introduced 66 outstanding members to be admitted to the Party, exceeding the set target. The work of expanding the solidarity front and gathering youth has had many innovations, many models and hobby clubs have been established, promoting the role of gathering and leading.

Activities to care for and protect children and teenagers are widely implemented in various forms. The ward Youth Union regularly coordinates with schools and residential groups to organize summer activities, skills training, and injury prevention. Many useful playgrounds such as Kim Dong Bookcase with talent classes (dance, chess, self-defense, free English) have attracted hundreds of children to participate regularly. The ward Youth Union also maintains the model "The Union's foster children" to provide monthly support for 02 children in difficult circumstances, organizes many gift-giving programs on the occasion of Tet, Children's Day, and Mid-Autumn Festival, contributing to affirming the Union's care for the young generation.

Speaking at the Congress, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ward Party Committee Le Thi Thanh Nhan acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements that the Ward Youth Union has achieved in the past term. She emphasized a number of key tasks in the coming time. She proposed that the Ward Youth Union continue to build and consolidate a strong and comprehensive Youth Union organization. This is the core task, the foundation for the Youth Union to complete all missions. In particular, it is necessary to innovate the method of gathering and attracting young people to participate in activities, improve the quality of union members, and attach importance to the work of fostering ideals and revolutionary ethics for the younger generation. Promote political and ideological education with many diverse and rich forms. From traditional activities, seminars, forums, to the use of social networking platforms to spread positive information and fight against wrong views.

The ward Youth Union must proactively create attractive and modern content on cyberspace, attracting young people to participate in self-study, consolidate revolutionary ideals, and build strong political will. Pioneer in administrative reform and digital transformation. This is an urgent requirement of the Party and State; closely coordinate with the Community Digital Transformation Team to implement the "popular digital education" movement. Young people must be the core, the extended arm of the government to guide and mobilize people to apply digital technology in daily life, especially in handling administrative procedures.

Actively participating in the key political tasks of the ward, the Youth Union must take the lead in propaganda work, mobilizing people to participate in the election of the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels, at the same time promoting the spirit of volunteerism and vanguard with the government in land acquisition, propaganda and mobilization so that people understand, agree, and hand over land on schedule, serving the socio-economic development projects of the ward. Promote creativity, build works bearing the imprint of youth. Take the lead in digitizing, introducing and promoting historical and cultural relics and traditional craft villages of the locality.
