Congress of Delegates of Bac Giang Provincial Gardening Association, term VI, 2024-2029

On the morning of November 22, the Bac Giang Provincial Gardening Association held the 6th Provincial Gardening Association (PGA) Congress, term 2024-2029. Attending the congress were comrades: Phan Huy Thong - Permanent Vice President of Vietnam PGA; Mai Son - Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of departments, branches, agencies, units and localities in the province.

Comrade Mai Son congratulated the Provincial Coach Executive Committee, term VI, 2024-2029.

During the past term, the Provincial Coach organized and implemented the Resolution of the 5th Congress, achieving encouraging results. Coaches at all levels admitted more than 1,600 new members, bringing the total number of members in the province to more than 56,900, an increase of 2,250 members compared to the previous term. Many new branches, clubs, and cooperatives were established.

Over the past 5 years, associations, cooperatives, and farm owners have known how to apply information technology, proactively connect with businesses, exchange experiences in production and find directions for products, and develop circular agricultural production associated with eco-tourism. Associations at all levels have planted over 2,115 hectares of fruit trees, renovated 1,824 hectares of mixed gardens, and renovated 1,134 hectares of ponds and lakes.

Through implementation, many outstanding models have emerged such as: Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hiep's household (Quy Son commune, Luc Ngan district); IOT technology application model for livestock and poultry farming at Mr. Hoang Dinh Que's farm (Quynh Son commune, Yen Dung district); linkage model associated with clean vegetable consumption of Yen Dung clean vegetable cooperative (Tien Dung commune, Yen Dung district)... contributing to promoting the VACR economic movement, farms, enhancing the economic value of agriculture...

With the theme "Solidarity - Creativity - Innovation and Development", for the 2024-2029 term, the Association sets the goal of continuing to consolidate and develop the Association's organization in the direction of improving quality and efficiency, innovating content and methods of operation. Strive to have over 80% of Associations in districts, cities and towns meet strong standards every year; recruit 500 or more new members each year; build at least 01 circular economic and organic production facility according to local strengths; continue to promote the movement of developing VACR economy, farms in the direction of circular economy, circular agricultural production, organic products, high technology application...

Permanent Vice President of Vietnam Coach Phan Huy Thong presented flowers and the Emulation Flag of Vietnam Coach to the coach of Bac Giang province.

Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Phan Huy Thong - Permanent Vice President of Vietnam Coaches acknowledged and praised the results and achievements of Bac Giang Provincial Coaches. At the same time, he requested that in the next term, the Provincial Coaches should continue to develop and improve the quantity and quality of the association. Innovate the association's operating methods, improve management work, and coordinate the implementation of tasks with relevant agencies.

Promote propaganda and dissemination to members of the Party and State's policies on agricultural and rural development. Strengthen mobilization of enterprises, cooperatives, research, training and agricultural extension facilities, etc. to participate in VACR economic development.

Proactively apply information technology and digital transformation in the activities of all levels of the association and in production and business activities, associated with cooperation and linkage along the value chain to improve efficiency, sustainable development, and towards the development of ecological agriculture...

Speaking at the Congress, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Comrade Mai Son - Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee praised the results achieved by all levels of coaches in the province in the past time. Comrade Mai Son said that in the past term, Bac Giang Provincial Coaches have achieved many encouraging achievements.

The Coach has created a widespread emulation movement, developed many typical farm economic models, helped members eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, and get rich legitimately. Many localities in the province have become bright spots with concentrated commodity production areas, bringing high economic value such as: Luc Ngan, Yen The, Luc Nam... The results achieved not only contribute to improving the economic life of the people, but also promote the process of industrialization and modernization of agriculture and rural areas.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee, comrade Mai Son presented flowers to congratulate the Congress.

Based on the consensus on tasks and solutions at the Congress, Comrade Mai Son suggested that in the coming term, coaches at all levels in the province need to continue to innovate their working methods to adapt and develop. Focus on developing members, strengthening the organization from the province to the grassroots; and strengthening the connection between the Association and all levels of government and businesses.

Promote production linkages along the value chain, associated with the development of ecotourism in rural areas. Launch emulation movements to build VACR, good farm economy, and build a strong Association. Replicating typical and advanced economic models to spread the spirit of innovation throughout the Association...

At the congress, delegates elected the Provincial Coach Executive Committee for the 6th term, 2024-2029, consisting of 24 members; Mr. Do Xuan Binh - Chairman of the 5th term, continued to be elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial Coach for the 7th term, 2024-2029.

On this occasion, 2 collectives and 4 individuals were honored to receive Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in coaching work and the VACR movement, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.
