Congress of Delegates of the Farmers' Association of Binh Loc Ward for the 2025-2030 term

(DN) - On the morning of October 3, at the Conference Hall of Dong Nai Rubber Corporation, the Farmers' Association of Binh Loc Ward held its first Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term. The Congress of Delegates of the Farmers' Association of Binh Loc Ward was chosen by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association as a pilot. The successful organization of the congress helps wards and communes to research and organize local congresses and contribute to the successful organization of the Provincial Farmers' Association Congress.

Attending the congress were Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial Farmers' Association Nguyen Huu Nguyen; leaders of Binh Loc ward and 120/120 official delegates representing 2,321 members in the ward.

In the period of 2023-2025, the association's work and farmers' movement in the ward have achieved many outstanding results. The association has admitted 450 new members, built 4 new branches, 20 professional associations and 9 cooperatives. Organized 32 training conferences for more than 2,300 officials and farmer members to attend and over 500 farming households have applied digital technology in production: electronic diaries, traceability by QR code, automatic irrigation system.

In addition, the association has coordinated to build 12 charity houses worth 1.4 billion VND and presented more than 1,300 gifts worth more than 600 million VND to disadvantaged households. Members and farmers have actively participated with the government in building rural infrastructure, contributing a total of over 4 billion VND, over 31,000 ^square meters of land, over 1,200 working days, etc.

The Congress agreed on the action program, congress program as well as the report on the implementation results of the resolution of the Congress of Farmers' Association of Binh Loc Ward for the period 2023-2025; the direction, goals, and tasks of the Farmers' Association movement of Binh Loc Ward for the term 2025-2030.

The Congress announced the decisions on appointing personnel of the Executive Committee of the Farmers' Association of Binh Loc Ward, Term I, consisting of 19 comrades, and the Standing Committee of 5 comrades. Of which, comrade Hoang Duc Liem holds the position of Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Binh Loc Ward for the 2025-2030 term. The Congress announced the decisions and appointed 4 delegates to attend the Congress of the Farmers' Association of Dong Nai Province.

Speaking at the congress, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Dong Nai province Nguyen Huu Nguyen suggested: In the coming time, the Farmers' Association of Binh Loc ward should continue to build a strong association, be a support for farmers, promote its core role in building and consolidating the great national unity bloc. The Association must be a bridge connecting farmers closely with the Party and the government; actively propagate and mobilize members and people to implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, especially policies on agricultural development, building new rural areas and civilized urban areas. Continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, taking members as the center; promote the spirit of "Listening to farmers, speaking so that farmers understand, making farmers believe".
